Organized by the AmCham Charity Foundation, on June 18, 2011 volunteers visited Devecser to spend a day together helping to renovate the yard of the local primary school. In October the red-sludge severely damaged several buildings in Devecser and Kolontár. In the volunteer’s day, together with other member companies, local teachers and the AmCham staff, the LEG team painted fences, doors and did gardening.
We had a wonderful and productive day in Devecser. By the end of the day, we were all pretty tired, but happy and satisfied that we could help those in need in the local community.
